It’s an old cupboard blue in color that belonged to my grandmother. She used it to store oil for the entire month. It was also used to store her collection of puja thali. It is still in use for the same purposes.
I asked Baa if he know how old this daraz must be!!. He told the daraz must be older than me as he remembered it was included in Maa’s furniture collection the year I was born (2053 B.S).
Originally it belonged to a guy who used to rent room downstairs in mamaghar. When the guy moved out he couldn’t clear his rent thus left the blue cupboard behind. To this day I’ve seen this blue cupboard used for the same purposes Maa started using for.
